Shawn Peuker is a devoted husband, proud father, entrepreneur, and passionate community advocate who has proudly called Boulder City home for more than 26 years. Known for his genuine kindness and ability to connect with people from all walks of life, Shawn believes that the strongest communities are built by serving others. His greatest passion is giving back, and that passion has become the driving force behind much of his life's work.

As the President of the Rae of Hope Foundation, Shawn turned what had been his wife's dream for more than a decade into a reality. What began as a vision to support families navigating the challenges of rare diseases, disabilities, and complex medical needs became a thriving nonprofit because of Shawn's unwavering belief in the mission and his willingness to work tirelessly behind the scenes. From building the foundation from the ground up to helping organize events, establish programs, and grow its reach, Shawn has poured countless hours of his heart, talents, and dedication into ensuring that families know they are never alone.

His passion for the foundation was deeply inspired by the journey of his stepdaughter, Raelynn, whose remarkable strength through numerous life-altering medical challenges has impacted everyone who knows her. Watching her courage in the face of adversity reinforced Shawn's commitment to creating hope for other families facing similar battles.
